On Saturday 12th July, our Bexley Deaf Club group (27 of us) went to Bath by coach, left from Danson Park, Sidcup at 7.30am and travelled to Bath smoothly and took about 3 hours to get there. It was beautiful and hot weather.
We went to Roman Baths, there were provided BSL mobile to talk about Roman Baths’s history. There were very ancient times including some costumes walked about. It was beautiful hot spring waters from the bottom. The exhibition is valued to see these ancient stones.
Then we went to something to eat outside of Roman Bath area. We had enjoyed ourselves. Then spilt groups to visit these places, tour on bus and boat, walked by the river including waterfalls then to famous circles houses including the famous Royal Crescent. It was beautiful view although.
We had relaxed and chatted with drinks of beer and cold/hot drinks, especially cakes!
We have a great day as worthwhile. Went back to coach and we were worn out by end of the day.
